To slightly amend mathapplicant's ranking, it seems to me:
UCB> UCLA> UCSD > UCD > UCI > UCSB > UCSC > UCR > UCM, which more or less corresponds with rankings, though UCR is ranked higher than UCSC. I guess people care more about the beach at Santa Cruz than the better ranked math Riverside has to offer.
