Letter writer taking forever to send in letter

So my final letter writer is taking forever to send in her LOR to the schools I have applied to. If for some reason she does not will the schools still look at my application and I face severely reduced chances, or am I just screwed completely?

Can you add an extra reference as back up ? many schools allow more than 3 reference writers.

Me or her? The issue is she procrastinates on most things so I'm 90% sure it will get done, I'm just freaking out because the deadlines coming up quickly.
