Letters of Recommendation Deadline

Hi all,

Does anyone know if the deadline for recommendation writers to submit their letters is the same as the deadline for me to submit the application for the schools University of Washington and University of North Carolina Chapel Hill? I don't want to submit the application unless I know that the letter writers will have a few more days because one of my letter writers hasn't submitted yet (but he should be able to within the next week).

I believe they tend to be lenient about reference letters, but you should check whether their website says the deadline is for all materials including supporting documents. Worst case scenario your reference is late, they won't not-consider you on that basis though it may hurt slightly.
