GRE Score Report

Hello:

Some schools ask for us to upload the unofficial GRE score report. The problem is that said score report contains all other scores and also score recipients. I actually decided to blur out all the score recipients because I didn't really think disclosing the other schools I was going to apply to was something I wanted. I also blurred out my October Subject score and left only my November one. At first I thought leaving only the relevant information on my score report was a good idea but now Im not so sure. What do you guys think? Was this a bad move  ?

I used to have the same concern last year. I considered blurring but did not do that eventually. The funny thing is that the school is not even on that scanned GRE score report. There are 4 other schools on it. :P The result is that I am admitted. But that does not imply anything of course. First this is just a single case. Second since they might have very likely received my official report at the time of review and did not see that scanned version at all. But in any case I dont really think it is too big a deal. If I do it today I will still not blur it.

I don't know what to do. This is killing me right now. Should I try to change the uploaded file?

I don't see anything particularly wrong with what you did.

Some of the schools I applied to had the option to upload the score report. I just didn't upload it. I don't believe any of the schools that I applied to said it was required.

Well to be totally honest, only one of the schools that has the blurred document actually required it. The other three schools did not require it and I somewhat stupidly decided to upload it. Such a dumb mistake  .

Anyway, I too am not sure if there is something wrong with what I did, but in the interest of being able to sleep at night I decided to ask the admissions committee. Fortunately, the university that actually required the test score report was very swift in responding and let me change the score report. The other three universities have not responded and I am hoping that if they don't end up letting me change the document then it is because they don't see any problem. BTW, suppose they do end up letting me correct my mistake, should I substitute the document for an unblurred score report or just ask to eliminate it from my app?

Just for the sake of completeness I would like to comment that most schools have replied my emails.
Two of them have told me not worry about it (they said that they only rely on the official ETS scores anyway) and the other has not answered. I think I somewhat overreacted with this matter .
