Yes, Lingzi was a Master's student in Statistics. It was her first year here and we had some classes together. We studied together.

Through a conversation after a talk Robert Devaney gave in our department recently, I was told that the department usually has 10-15 phd opening every year and it happened that this year they only had a few positions. do you happen to know what is it going to be like next year by , for example, the number of people going to graduate? I wanted to ask what type of profile BU students have entering for MS in mathematics?
Their GRE scores GPA etc.
I am a software engineer have GPA around almost 3.0/4.0
GRE score 320/340
Might give GRE Subjective Maths.
Do u think I can get admission to BU with some funding?
