Has anyone heard back from NCSU yet? This waiting is getting difficult for me!

I heard back from them after contacting them about the PhD program. I got an unofficial rejection when I contacted them, but still haven't gotten anything official from them. Their masters timeline might be different though. I'd suggest sending an email. One is fine, but more than that could be annoying.

It stinks you had to email to get a rejection!
I have a deadline by which I have to make a decision, yet none of the contacts have acknowledged my emails. I'd just like a "ballpark date" by which to expect a decision, rather than twiddling thumbs.

That's surprising, I got a pretty prompt response to my email. Did you mention in your email that you have a deadline (I'm assuming from another school)? I suppose you could try calling them too, it's a little bit harder to ignore a call than an email assuming you get through to a live person.
