I plan to take sub exam this month, here I have a big question:
Will the exam result shown online (or notified by phone) be the "final" percentile result?
That is, if I sit the GRE sub exam this month and I do NOT request ETS to send the result till December,
will my result then be scaled again after the October and November exams ??
Or is it the case that the result is final after an exam and it will never change over the next five years, even I do not request ETS to send them anywhere?
Is there a deflation/inflation of GRE sub result?

Re: Is there a deflation/inflation of GRE sub result?
The results are scaled after successive exams. I took the November exam last year, and my percentile score changed after the December scores were released.

Your result is scaled again when they rescale the test.

I see. Does an existing result change a lot after each exam?
How about if I request ETS to report my scores early (say if I request ETS to send them in Semptember), shall they still notify my schools about my updated result after October and November exams?

I'm not sure how much they would change on average. Mine changed by 3% just from the addition of the December exam. I'm not sure if they calculate the percentages for a year or what. If you report your scores earlier they will not send the schools an update version as far as I know. But you could have them resent for the low low price of $[whatever ridiculous price ETS charges]!
