Hello!
I was looking through the application thread, and I didn't see anyone applying for the place where I'm at grad school. You should come to Washington University in St. Louis! It's a relatively small department so you get to know people pretty well, and there's really good support for students (both money-wise and community-wise). I really like it here, so give it a look!

Hi Meredith. I've heard that's a nice place, but I decided not to apply there because I couldn't quite figure out their research interests. I'm applying to programs in discrete math and combinatorics, and as far as I can tell, there's only one faculty member researching combinatorics and no relevant seminar. Is this right? Can you tell us more about the research at Washington University?
