Somebody help~

Post by lichade » Sat Nov 01, 2008 2:30 am

I got confused about this question...
If the mean of a<b<c<d is 100, what is the minimum value of a+d?

As far as i know, there is no limitation about a,b,c,d;
if a>=0, then i think min(a+d)=135, but what if a<0?

I think a,b,c,d are integers larger than zero.

And I agree with your answer, when (1,132,133,134), a+d = 135.

if a<0 then, a+d will go to -inf as a goes to -inf.
