Since I'm applying to Statistics and Computer Science programs, I was told that anything over 25th percentile will probably be high enough. My question is - approximately how many correct questions is this?

Best bet would be to look at the back of the current gre to see what number of correct you should target (keep in mind score is a function of correct and incorrect here). For GRE9768 that corresponds to a raw score of between 19 and 20, 0568 a raw score of 18, and for gre 8767 raw score of 20.
However, if you are cool with 25% are you sure you need to donate to ETS's bank account and take the test?
