McGill Application

I noticed that some people on this board are applying to McGill. It is not clear if we have to mail two copies of our official transcripts. Does anyone know? Thanks for any insight.

We don't at the time of application, it says so on their website.applicant2013 wrote:I noticed that some people on this board are applying to McGill. It is not clear if we have to mail two copies of our official transcripts. Does anyone know? Thanks for any insight.
Sure, it says that on the "uApply" general website for admissions, but under "Transcripts" specific to the department:Ryker wrote:We don't at the time of application, it says so on their website.applicant2013 wrote:I noticed that some people on this board are applying to McGill. Since you upload the transcripts as part of the application, I went the "general" route and didn't send them official transcripts at this time. You can choose to play it safe, but I honestly do think they'll just evaluate our applications based on unofficial transcripts and ask for the official ones only if admitted. That's what most of the universities I applied to do, and I can't remember any of those that allow for an upload requiring an additional physical copy.applicant2013 wrote:Sure, it says that on the "uApply" general website for admissions, but under "Transcripts" specific to the department:Ryker wrote:We don't at the time of application, it says so on their website.applicant2013 wrote:I noticed that some people on this board are applying to McGill. It seems to imply that we need mail 2 copies of the transcript. It's not very clear to me...and the department is not being responsive.
