I got 710 , 69% man this is very bad :S:S:S.
I applied to the november test and i did much better., but i can't bet on this anymore.Could anyone request for me some universities for math phD.
my GPA in mathematics is 4.0 and i accomplished a BE in computer engineer and i started my mathematics master program this year, but i am studying my chances if i can travel from next year for a phD program.
I have great letter of recommendation, but this score will crash everything.
Any honest advice?

I'm not convinced this score will "crash everything". It depends on a lot of other factors. I would apply wherever you were planning on applying before and maybe add a couple of safety schools.

In most cases, graduate schools do not actually have as hard a cutoff as they claim. Some top 20 schools barely look it for sufficiently strong applicants.

If you're really worried and you feel that your test score honestly does not accurately predict how well you'll do in grad school, just say that in the essay and explain why without appearing like you're making up excuses. You had a bad day on a test. It happens to everybody..

The truth is every admission committee knows that someone who is mediocre at math can score in the 99th % by brute studying and they know that a math genius can get a poor score if he doesn't study and has a bad day. In between these extremes, the GRE is an okay measure of how well you'll do in graduate school, probably because it's a measure of how good you are at preparing for tests. Convince them it's not predictive and you'll be fine. (Or rather, you'll be about as fine as you were before).

On the other hand, if the GRE is really your only potential place to shine, then that's another story. The above assumes you have an otherwise strong record.

Is this really a bad score? 70th percentile?

I'm no genius, but I'd like to think there is SOME hope for the 70% of would-be mathematicians who scored beneath you.

I'm sure I'll be one of them, so I'll keep my fingers crossed on this!
