Interest in a prof but not sure whether he is still affiliated to the original institution

I am interested in Prof. Kevin, Costello who is affiliated to Northwestern. However, he is holding a physical position in Perimeter Institute and per Northwestern website info, he still holds full-time prof position in Northwestern. Can someone give me some light on this issue? I am not certain that he is still affiliated to Northwestern at the moment.

I am pretty sure he left Northwestern. If you go to Northwestern's website, he is no longer listed under People. Northwestern has lost a lot of faculty in the last few years (couple to Chicago, one to Stanford, one to a physics research institute). The department is in need for some major hires or else...

It looks like he left Northwestern to go to the Perimeter Institute. I do not really know if that is a permanent move from Northwestern, or some type of temporary appointment.
