Hi everyone, i am an applicant for PhD program with concentration on applied math. I accepted one offer (UMBC) on the 15th and just got another offer (FSU). I am now torn between those to choose which one. Both departments have great professors in applied track and I want to do stochastic analysis/numerical. I wonder if anyone has any advice or experience with those 2 program to share. Location-wise, UMBC is definitely better i think since its campus is in good proximity to big cities in the east (MD, DC, etc) so industry job opportunities can be good? Thank you!
