Is one semester long cours on abstract algebra enough ?

I did one-semester long course on Abstract algebra at my university. Is that enough to be admitted to applied mathematics program?
Should I take one more semester of abstract algebra?

You probably won't even be USING any abstract algebra in an applied mathematics course... But it's still nice to know basic group theory.
