How many continuous real-valued dunctions f are there with domain [-1,1] such that (f(x))^2 = x^2 for each x in [-1,1] ?

A) 1
B) 2
C) 3
4) 4
E) inf.

I thought of f = x, -x, |x|

any other ?

could it be |-x| ?

almost - just wth minus outside of the abs :) f = - |x|. that will do.
