Hi everyone,
I've decided to apply to the Ph.D. program in Mathematics at the University of Kansas and my area of interest is Number Theory. How do you recommend KU Number Theory program?. I can't find much information regarding that on their website. Hope someone on this forum can help me find it out. Thanks.

You can always try contacting either the grad advisor or a grad student.

Yeah. Moreover, I'm having a tough time choosing between George Mason, South Florida and KU. I wanna pursue Number Theory at a better university. What is the best out of these 3 unis?

I really am not sure, there are probably a lot of factors, the most important being faculty and what specifically you would do in Number Theory.heshan666 wrote:Yeah. After looking quickly through their faculty it doesn't look like anyone there does anything more than tangentially related to number theory. A decent amount of Commutative Algebra and Algebraic Geometry though if you're into that.
