Mathematics GRE

Hi everyone,

I am applying to the Ph.D. in Mathematics at Syracuse. They have asked to upload financial documentation to the online application.Is Proof of funding documents necessary during their application process or can it be provided once the decision is made?

I hope someone who is familiar with their online portal could help me figure this out. Thank you.

I am not sure about Syracuse. In my applications, UIUC also asks for financial documents. However, UIUC states explicitly that these documents can be submitted later (like after you are admitted) and will not be used to assess your applications. You should check Syracuse’s graduate division website.

I believe you can submit that later and use the department funding letter as financial documents
