About the "major GPA"

I am currently applying to grad schools and in all applications there was a question who asks your "major GPA". I am not doing any minor or double majors. Is it the same as my cumulative-GPA(which includes all the courses i have taken,like english and composition, humanities :? ) or just the average of my MATH courses' grades.
Any help is appreciated.
