For me it's slightly harder than the September one. I made nearly 12 guesses.

I think the difficulty was about on par with the September test. Most of the first 40 questions were straightforward and similar to the practice material available online. After question 40, the difficulty increased significantly. You really have to speed through the first portion if you want any hope of tackling the last 20-25 questions.

I think I did slightly better than in September, mostly because I was more prepared this time around. Hopefully I don't get blindsided 5 weeks from now!

Upon returning home I realised that I made 4 silly mistakes ( one of which involved taking sin(60) to be 1/2). Any idea as to what raw score might be needed to break the 750 score barrier? Any help in this regard would be deeply appreciated.

Depends on the test form you were given.

I personally feel that the first 50 questions were achievable enough. On the contrary there were some tricky questions at the end. Overall paper was not that tough if you are well prepared. If you solved earlier questions at a fast pace, then you will be able to get sufficient time for solving trickier question. I had to guess last few questions due to less time left. How is 750 as a scaled score?

Check this conversion chart out. It's just an approximation, so take it with a grain of salt. But a 750 should correspond to ~42 correct. https://www.mathsub.com/wp-content/uplo ... -chart.pdf

If past experience is any indicator, they should be coming out tonight. Like, within a couple hours.

Results are out... But somehow I didn't get a confirmation email yet. Does that mean that the scores are not final?

I don't know, I receive the email notification and check the ETS website.

Somehow I found that this unofficial conversion(https://www.mathsub.com/wp-content/uplo ... -chart.pdf) is really accurate, at least my raw score and percentage match, but I don't remember that I made a lot of mistakes as this conversion-chart indicate.. :(

From my experience, I think the column for the GR 1768 exam is still being used. I got 760 (71%) this time around, and I would be surprised if I got 43/66 correct for this score. I think I got 47/66, which gives me this score. I was expecting a higher score in September as well following the unofficial conversion chart, so I think the GR 1768 column is being used. If not, I guess I screwed up more than I think.

Does anyone know how do we access our raw score (number of questions correct out of 66)?

Yep, based on this conversion, I got 54/66, but I thought my raw score should be around 56. Since after the exam, I discussed with my friends and recalled about 2/3 questions in the whole exam

Thank you everyone for your feedback. I'll take it into account and try to revise my scale as best as I can — keep in mind, the part about raw score is entirely guesswork, because that data is never released by the ETS. (They have to keep an air of mystery somehow, don't they? Can't have people knowing exactly how they're scored...)

I actually took the test again this October (to keep current and see what new material they've added), and I got a 970 (99th percentile). I know for a fact that I very much guessed on the last question, and there was another question that I made an educated guess based on numerical data. So it's possible that one could get a 970 even with not a perfect raw score.

So, just to make sure I'm understanding everyone correctly, the suggestion is that the raw score to percentile conversion should be closer to the one from GR1768? The available scaled scores are certainly different, but I could adjust accordingly.

I got 800 on the October test too and it felt like I missed about a dozen questions. So I concur that the raw score was around 54.

Yes, I concur with the previous posts as well. My prediction of my raw score seems to align with the data in the GR 1768 column. I think I got around 47, and missed out on my target score of 78-80% by missing out on 3-4 problems. I just couldn't do 'damage control' on the exam, and get problems correct which I otherwise should have gotten correct.

I guess I'll add my experience here as well. After taking the October test, I estimated I got 45-48 correct. It turns out, I scored a 760 (71st percentile). That aligns pretty well with the GR1768 scale.

However, I should note that it's entirely possible we're all over-estimating our performance. Maybe we missed more questions than we thought

By the way, thanks for your website, DMAshura. It was my go-to resource for mGRE prep. Very helpful!

Yep, I just checked the scale on 1768 and it turned out match my guess pretty well, I guessed I make mistakes on 10 questions, i.e. 56/66 just match what the 1768 said.

I got 890 (92%) on the October test, and I am pretty sure that I answered at least 8 questions incorrectly, so I think the first column in the table is actually very precise. On the other hand, as someone already said, it is very easy to overestimate the own performance here..
