Due to shortage of data on International students, I am having a hard time estimating my chances of acceptance.

Any comments on my profile or school choices would be highly appreciated!!

TOEFL Score: (108 = R27/L26/S27/W28)

Program Applying: Applied Math PhD, looking for places with research in Complex Systems, Network Theory and Dynamical Systems.

Research Experience: Two independent studies, one at home institution on Spectral Graph Theory and another under a professor in my hometown on Mathematical Ecology. One national summer research fellowship program at IIT Kanpur, on Mathematical Biology. Master's Thesis on Cellular automata modeling of traffic flow. Both the home institution experiences included in-campus presentations.
Awards/Honors/Recognitions: Institute merit scholarships, NBHM M.A./M.Sc. National Scholarship, Junior Research Fellowship by CSIR (deferred).
Pertinent Activities or Jobs: None.
Any Miscellaneous Points that Might Help: Class Rank: 03/52. Two of the recommenders know me very well and are aware of my overall progress and the third one was my summer research supervisor, so the recommendations would be strong.
Any Other Info That Shows Up On Your App and Might Matter: Took a wide array of courses to avoid being unidirectional, don't know if it's a positive point or a negative one.

Applying to Where:

Cornell
UCLA
NYU
Northwestern
UWash
UT Austin
UNC Chapel Hill
UMaryland
UC Irvine
UC Santa Barbara

I am clueless as to which universities should be considered as safeties or matches. I do understand that all the schools I have chosen are top-notch. Due to financial constraints I could only apply to ten places.
