Hello there,
I am an international student who is planning to apply for grad school in one of the ivy league or top schools in the US in applied math. While I did very well in the quantitative, I am really struggling with the verbal section. I know it is hard to determine, but is the is a specific approximate minimum for it that I should aim to. I don't want to waste my time on it and would like to invest my time in the math subject GRE -I am non-native and dyslexic -
Thank you,

Re: "Good" General GRE score for verbal section for non-native
Try to get above a 150 on the verbal section. If you are a native, then the verbal section will be definitely weighed. I have spoken to DGS at a AMS GROUP I school and they told me that your verbal GRE score is a factor, so if you are a native please try to get above a 155 on the verbal.
