Where did you get waitlisted? When did you hear back? Are you still waiting? Please share it here!

I got waitlist emails from Wisconsin-Madison and Michigan Ann Arbor.
I still didn't hear back from UCSD (there have been two waves of rejections already) so I'm assuming I'm on their waitlist as well.

I got off the Wisconsin waitlist late Feb, still waiting on the other two.

Northwestern* (saw rejections and acceptances in grad cafe so I’m calling it a waitlist, but no official notification like some people on here got)

Have yet to receive an acceptance anywhere.

EDIT - rejected from both. Maybe next cycle will be better for me.

No they did not. But we are so close to the deadline, and I already got a rejection from UT Austin CSEM. Just waiting to hear back from math.

Was told I was in the top 10 of the waitlist at Boulder. Haven't received official waitlist notifications from UIC or Brandeis, but have been in contact with both departments and told my application is still under consideration.

GA Tech just updated my app with "decision made" so...I don't know what that means. My friend has the same thing on his app, but he got an email saying decision would be available later. I received no email, even though my app was updated to "decision made".

I just got the same email

They do this with all rounds of decisions. I think it is a shitty email to receive cause now you're probably more stressed, but I think its because the official decision letter comes from the overall school, not the department, so after the department makes their decision there is a slight delay. If you got accepted to UC Irvine and decided not to attend, I would be really appreciate if you could decline the offer soon. I do not have a single offer yet, and UC Irvine is my last hope now.

Also, has anyone been accepted off the waitlist for UC Irvine, or know any information regarding their waitlist?

I ranked #8 out of 33 in the waitlist. I am not sure if I am in a safe position or not.

I ranked #8 out of 33 in the waitlist. I am not sure if I am in a safe position or not.

I was told I was at the top of a waitlist and I still haven't heard anything...so I don't know about being rank 8.

Yep, looks like they sent out both rejects and accepts yesterday but I've got nothing.

UCSD just emailed me saying a decision after April 15 is also possible. I was told I’m on a “small” waitlist.

Just cancelled my admission to UIC. Guess I won't be going to grad school in Fall 2020. My exams are in Sept. due to COVID while UIC's program start in August. They can't admit me without my degree in advance.
