I'm sorry to hear that. Couldn't you defer your admission instead of just cancelling it?

Damn, regardless of whether you can defer, that really sucks to have such a big delay out of nowhere. My hope for you is that you can find something satisfying to do to make you happy about that extra time instead of feeling like it's wasted.

Talk to your school, explain the situation. Try to arrange make-ups earlier, maybe online..
