As Covid-19 has upended most US schools financial situations, has anyone heard about or experienced a change to their GTA offers for the Fall of 2020?

I have heard that international students not getting ta support if they cannot come to us.

Makes sense, since it requires the fulfilment of the working hours. But what if they offer a fellowship for the first year?

I’m curious as to what type of work a teaching assistant will be responsible for if the Universities remain on line in the fall. All the CSU’s have confirmed that they will be mainly doing online learning.

In my school ta this semester committed their duties as before by holding office hour and problem sessions via zoom.

There might be an option of teaching online if the isolation continues long enough. You don't need to be in US to do that. Nevertheless, it's not an option if you can't be in US. That was my point
