Stony Brook results?

Post by hormander » Sat Apr 10, 2021 12:52 am

Hi guys, I see a waitlist on gradcafe. When I poked a few days ago, they only say that they're "still making decisions" without mentioning if I am waitlisted. For those who are admitted/wailisted, I wonder if you can share more info on how you receive this admission and what is the standard funding for SUNY this year?

I was waitlisted in mid-March after a short interview. The standard funding is a little higher than $20k (don't know the exact number).

Moreover, as I only see Applied Math on gradcafe, I wonder if any pure math students are accepted to SUNY yet?

Has anyone heard anything from them? Last week they told me they will let us know the decision very soon...

Stony Brook is done. Interestingly: this year there were many, many more domestic applicants, and the percentage of domestic applicants who accepted their offers was twice as high as in typical years.
