Student Teacher relationship

Hi guys,

Does anyone happen to know anything about the student teacher relation at Texas at Austin? Washington Seattle?
I got accepted in both for my graduate studies, and I'm wondering about stuff like, does your advisor have time for you there? Will he see you weekly, or are you left alone,...

I don't think the teachers will not avoid an interesting student.

All I ahve heard about this place is positive. And I think there are good and not very teachers in every institution. And the relations will depend on you as well.
