Do schools usually consider Fall grade?

I am applying for 13 schools, 6 of which have deadlines past January 1st.
The problem is I got a B in one analysis graduate course this semester and would not want it to be considered in the application. This looks really bad, particularly since in graduate school standard, B means near-failing. I think I was very unfortunate since my other graduate course instructor basically gave everyone A. If possible, I want to have a chance to salvage this grade by having better grade in the Spring.

I know there are lots of people here who have gone through this process already. Would anyone be willing to give me some insights?

I suppose you have a version of transcript that does not include fall grade (for Dec 1st or Dec 15th deadline). You can submit that. If the school really wants to know your fall grade, they will ask.

That's true! I was wondering how likely it would be for them to ask for a new transcript. Imagine I just get rejected because of this one course...
