Princeton Admissions

It seems Princeton started admitting students according to Gradcafe. Can anybody confirm something? What does it mean that it has been "unofficially told by the administrator"? Does it mean they received an email from some Professor in the committee or something similar?

I can confirm that Princeton has released unofficial offers. They are from the Graduate Program Administrator.
As proof, here is the SHA 256 of the first sentence in the letter.

I did not apply to PACM.
