Anyone heard from UC Davis Applied Math?

Just saw on gradcafe that two people received offers for the PhD program in Applied Math at UC Davis. One person mentioned that they received an email from the program coordinator. Did anyone else hear back? I was just wondering whether UC Davis releases admissions decisions in waves? I didn't receive any email and I'm pretty anxious now!

I also didn't receive emails. Last year, they emailed offers on 1/25, 1/26,1/27 according to gradcafe, so I think there is still hope. I'm also very anxious, it would be very bad news for me if I don't get into UCD since I didn't apply to any safety schools (very bad idea) and UCD is the least competitive program I applied to...

I have not heard from them. I am expecting a rejection, which probably means they have not gone through and filtered out all of the “bad” applicants (or at least haven’t notified them).

In 19 they kept sending offers til 1/29, so there is still hope.
I'm in a similar position, had confidence with Davis but heard nothing. Really wish i check this forum not today but a week later so i'm either in or doomed. Getting so nervous now

Emailed them a couple of days ago and got the same response: applications are still under review. Other than master's programs (someone on gradcafe got rejected from the math masters), they haven't finalized a rejection list just yet

Have mentioned any time frame - like earlier they sent one of the users that they might send decisions within 2 weeks ?

They didn't say any specific time frame other than that they will start sending out decisions in the next couple of weeks. My guess is that they'll start sending stuff out around mid March

I emailed them just now. It might sound strange to ask now. Is UCD highly ranked for applied mathematics? I just applied there because faculty in the department are interested in what I am interested in without even thinking about ranking or comparing it with other universities.
