Oregon State Decision

Did anyone else just get an email from OSU about being recommended to the graduate program and asking about interviews? If yes, is this an informal acceptance letter or could I still be rejected? The way the email was framed sounds like it's an informal acceptance letter, but its content makes it seem I could still be rejected.

It’s an unofficial acceptance. Funding is not certain, though.

Any comments about a potential interview?

I’m guessing it will be a “gauge your interest” type of interview. OSU historically does not give very much funding (17-18k past few years). They probably won’t offer money unless there is a real chance you want to attend. Perhaps someone who applied here in previous years can provide a more accurate statement.
