Did anyone hear back from Rice University for their pure math Ph.D. application?
When I asked the Academic Programs Coordinator on 2/18, she just said: "...the Admissions Committee has sent out the first round of admission offers." Did someone receive an offer from Rice?

Rice has already sent all of its offers on the 21st, there was a total of 10.

ALL OF ITS OFFERS?? So they don't have a waiting list, not even an unofficial one?
Do you have any idea if it has already sent some rejections too?
If yes, then those of us who have not heard till now are probably on some waiting list!

What I mean is that all of the spots available have been offered, and the only ones opening up are when one of those 10 decline. They do have a waiting list, I believe a few people on the applicant profiles forum have mentioned being waitlisted.

I emailed Rice today. They got back in about 20 minutes and said "The final decisions will be sent out in the next couple of days, and you should see an update on the status page of your application."
