I haven't heard anything. One person on here claims they were admitted after a quick search of the fall2022 thread, but a post on gradcafe says that the poster contacted the department and decisions were supposed to come out mid February. Not sure what the delay is about..

Should I contact the department? I haven't heard back from them and I'm worrying because this is supposed to be a match/safety school according to my letter writers, who also have connections with WashU

I'm in support of contacting them. I was told the same by my letter writers.

Should we contact Professor Wick? The graduate studies coordinator.

I contacted Dr. Wick and he said no additional offers will be made until late March at the earliest. Looks like we're not in the top picks

Did you apply to the pure math or applied math program?

Damn, that sucks... I wonder if they only had a few openings, I haven't seen much discussion about WUSTL decisions this year.

I wouldn't be surprised if they had fewer positions available than usual. Most schools are in the same position because of the pandemic. This year just sucks to be applying to math PhDs

I also contacted WUSTL. I confirm that they told me all first round offers were made, and they also did not reject anybody yet. So I guess everybody is on the waitlist rn lmao. This is for pure math.

Thanks for the update! I guess it's time to move on with my life, then.

I'd say there's still a chance. I haven't seen a lot of offers being made, although maybe people just aren't posting about them.

How big is the program? Did anyone have an update recently or a news from them?

There are roughly 80 grad students. Also, I emailed the DGS (Wick) and he told me the program was already full and there will be no more acceptances. I just got officially rejected today
