Is there some workshops or summer programs this year related to analysis that will be held online? I cannot find any.
I appreciate if someone can suggest some other things to do in the summer or tell me about some info about this!
Any PDE workshop online in summer?
Re: Any PDE workshop online in summer?
I have no idea for workshops or the like, but here's a suggestion for independent work. Depending on your analysis background, working through some texts on PDE might be a good idea. I've found that writing up results is great practice and a good learning experience. One book I'm reading through for a reading project is Mathematical Tools for the Study of the Incompressible Navier-Stokes Equations and Related Models, which is a great book on fluids if you're solid on your measure theory/functional analysis/sobolev theory/real analysis/fourier stuff. If you like probability and think stochastic PDE might be cool, you could start reading up on stochastic calculus and work towards that. Otherwise shoring up those topics would be great help (and great prep for quals). Just my thoughts.
