Utah?
Utah?
Hi folks, while I am struggling with making a decision on graduate school, I think hearing perspectives from other people would help me (and potentially other people very much). Therefore, I love to hear people's opinions on the University of Utah. For the background, I am fairly open-minded about the research area since I come from a liberal arts college. With those said, the potential fields include algebraic geometry, geometric group theory, and algebraic topology. In other words, I really love the interplays between geometry and algebra. The other potential options that I have include UMN, Vanderbilt, Ohio State, and Notre Damn.

Re: Utah?
I must confess a lack of knowledge about Utah, but I attended OSU for undergrad and I'm currently at UMN for grad school, so feel free to DM me if you want details on those places. I know a fair amount about them.
