Does Putnam scores matter for graduate school admissions?

If so, how much does it matter? Does it only matter if you are a Putnam fellow/ top 25? Also, is the effect significant or very little?

I would even say that most admission committee members believe that research capabilities is highly correlated to problem-solving capabilities
