Has anyone applied to CU Boulder for PhD maths 2024?
Re: CU Boulder
Yes and I have heard nothing from them yet.
Re: CU Boulder
Me 2. I applied to its Applied Math program. I only got an email telling me to re-upload some materials in December and no updates since then.

I got an admit for CU Boulder AMATH earlier this week, don't know if they have sent out all the acceptances though

Wow, that makes me really nervous. I am still in radio silence.AvailableProject1234 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 27, 2024 3:56 pmI got an admit for CU Boulder AMATH earlier this week, don't know if they have sent out all the acceptances though
Re: CU Boulder
I just got admitted for pure math.
Judging by last year's situation they'll probably send out a waitlist soon.

Re: CU Boulder
Last year they sent a bunch of rejections before first round acceptances, and for people on the waitlist the rejections didn't come until after Apr 15. I don't know how many they took off the waitlist last year. I applied last year too and was on the waitlist, and they contacted me near the end if I was still interested, but they had too many first round admits who accepted last minute. I believe from all the acceptances I have gotten so far this time that funding this year is not nearly as strenuous as last year, because I don't think my profile improved that much just by some preprints. In the unlikely case I get into Utah or Stony I will decline this as soon as possible. Best of luck to you.Vaibhavi_m4 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2024 1:17 amCongratulations! Do you have any idea if they'll send out rejections?
