Does anyone know when to expect decisions from any of UIUC, Rutgers, Florida, Penn State, Colorado Boulder?
I was waitlisted at Boulder today.

I was interviewed by UConn yesterday. They told me the purpose of the interview was to test my English speaking, due to my low score in speaking. :?
Did they say all the interviews are like this? It's so nervous hearing nothing at all. For me I never took any of the tests as a student in the U.S.

May I ask: Who are your interviewers? When is your interview scheduled? What is your proposed field of research?

Could you inform me whenever that happens? I’m trying to gauge when I should start worrying.

I reached out to the grad coordinator at UMN to confirm if they have already released all the first round offers or if they haven't yet released all of them. I got the following response https://tree.gdn/f/vzmrpz.jpg . What does it mean?

It means that they are unwilling (probably by law?) to provide you with this information, and you should wait, at the latest, until the middle of March (which seems to be a department-internal deadline) to get a definitive answer.

All the UK schools require an interview before admission.

Has anyone here had an interview for UWashington or any other university because their speaking score was low? I want to know the type of questions they ask and what they pay attention to.

Can you tell us about the interview: what they asked and, in general, what they paid attention to? I also have one of these interviews for my low speaking score at UWashangton.

I see UW has a Department of Applied Mathematics, and on the Reddit spreadsheet it shows the acceptance is in applied. Perhaps there's a separate committee for pure?

I got one yesterday for pure math, but in the email they said "because of special budgetary constraints this year on the number of Teaching Assistantships we can give, we were able to accept fewer than 5% of the applicants."

I'm not really comfortable to state my interviewers, but my interview is scheduled for next week. I listed a few areas of research in my application (some very pure, some quite applied). I believe I am being considered for operator algebras in particular.

Is it by email or on portal? I just checked both email and portal and I can't see anything. Will check again a few hours later.

Also is it acceptance or rejection? It's also possible that rejection comes later.
