Anyone applied/applying to Columbia applied math ?

Hello,

I am confused about the deadline of this columbia applied math program (within Fu Engineering).
The department website has a deadline of Dec 1st, while the Engineering faculty says all deadlines for PhD are Dec 15.

Anyone has more information of this ?

The applied math website also says the following (emphasis mine):

The requirements listed below are special to the University Committee on Applied Mathematics and must be read in conjunction with the general requirements of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.

If the applied math program is affiliated with both the Arts and Sciences and the Engineering schools, it wouldn't be surprising if they had an application deadline separate from the general engineering deadline. You could call to find out for sure, or play it safe and submit your application by the Dec 1 deadline.
