Math Videos (upper undergraduate to graduate level)
Math Videos (upper undergraduate to graduate level)
Hi,
Does anyone know of any free videos/webcasts focusing on math (upper undergraduate to graduate level)?
So far I only know of two:
1) http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/
(but not much videos, mostly lecture notes)
2) http://www.extension.harvard.edu/open-l ... ct-algebra
(even less math videos, but the one by Prof. Gross is excellent)
Thanks a lot!
(I find that I learn better through attending or visually watching lectures, than reading books..)

Comp sci/engineering slant but good math:
http://see.stanford.edu/see/courses.aspx
This one is a sort of aggregate of a lot of free courses so it includes the stanford and mit ones, but others too:
http://academicearth.org/subjects/math/
Just discovered these the other day so I can't speak of their quality:
http://www.uccs.edu/~math/vidarchive.html
lastly:

Browse through iTunes U within iTunes. Off the top of my head, I know videos of Joe Blitzstein's Stat 110 class (probability) at Harvard are up there for free, and I imagine you can find some other gems if you dig.

There are many at DNAtube, such as: http://www.dnatube.com/video/6899/A-Par ... DE-Formula , and many others from this author. And more on YouTube, such as at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4JFFLruvqP4 by the same author.

William Stein at the University of Washington has a videocast from one of his lectures. The topic is an introduction to using Sage for algebraic number theory. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NW_P0N8M ... e=youtu.be
