Hi all,
First of all I am worried about this because my grades were not stellar to begin with (things averaging out to mid 3.6's) so I was wondering just how much a B- in an upper level class (a differential topology class) affect my chances for getting into, say, a top 10 graduate program. More precisely, I wonder if this will be a "red flag" of sort to the eyes of admissions directors. I come from a school with a top 5 grad program and a curriculum that most people would consider rigorous.
Thanks for your input!
How badly will a mess-up in an upper-level class affect me?
