Universities that don't require the official transcript for admission

Post by Transcendent » Sat Nov 26, 2016 5:03 am

Can you please list some of the universities that don't require the official transcript of the bachelor's degree for admission? Additionally, are there universities who don't need the official TOEFL and GRE results for admission? They make applying too expensive...

I can't think of a single university that does not require at least one GRE test for admission. Some schools do not require the math subject test: Stony Brook and Brandeis are the two best mathematics schools that do not require it, as far as I can remember. They both require the General test, however.

Every program will require an official transcript showing completion of your bachelors when you enroll. Many will accept scans of an official transcript for application purposes, so you may get away with only paying for two transcripts: one to scan, and one to send in when you enroll.

GRE tests are not required for most universities outside of the US. Most schools in the US will require at least the general test.

Many schools will waive application fees if you have financial need. I'm not sure if you could ask ETS to waive or reduce the GRE fees, but it could be worth looking into.

Thanks for the replies. I talked to universities, almost all of them said unofficial transcript of the bachelor degree will do for the admission purposes.

Also, MSU is the only university that I've found that doesn't require official copies of TOEFL and GRE for admission.
