Rutgers(Pure) VS Ohio State Uni(Applied)

Hi, I am currently deciding between Rutgers(Pure Math) and Ohio State(Applied Track) and was wondering if I could hear someone's opinion on this as I currently do not have a specific area that I want to specialize in(I am thinking maybe PDE if I choose pure math but am reluctant to go into numerical methods in pde for applied math).

Don't know much about Rutgers, but I know Brezis is there. I'm sure he's brought other very strong people in PDE to Rutgers too. Would probably be a great place if you want to do pure PDE.
