I'm applying to PhD programs in applied mathematics, but my GRE scores were 169 verbal, 164 quant.
That's not a great quantitative score but a pretty good verbal score, so should I send it to programs or hold back?
I'm also planning on taking the subject test soon, so hopefully I'll get a better score on that
Should I send my regular GRE scores if my verbal was higher than quant?

Same here, I think I'm gonna submit only when required. Tbh not getting a 170 on quant for a math phd applicant is kinda embarrassing for me, I know grad students in english and geography departments who got 170 on quant grepbar wrote: ↑Fri Sep 08, 2023 8:42 pmI'm applying to PhD programs in applied mathematics, but my GRE scores were 169 verbal, 164 quant.
